Acceptance into College with Gap Year

Universities will pay more attention to student applications when they see Gap Experiences. In fact, some of our Conexus students came to us when Harvard and Yale made their admission contingent on a Gap experience, even though some had traveled and lived abroad before. See this article from Harvard Admission: Considering a Gap Year | Harvard.

We congratulate our students and the parents who invested in their children’s education and future. Here are some of the positive feedback from our Conexus alumni commenting on their Gap experience and how it helped their transition into college much easier compared to other freshmen in our Reviews.

  • Felt “less stress” compared to their college peers

  • College life felt “comfortable” and “manageable”

  • Freshman Year felt “familiar, “similar” to what they experienced in their Gap Experience

  • “Managed” their time better

  • Noticed they were more “mature” in handling situations more responsibly
